Jonas Stenild

I started writing PHP and building for the web back in 2005. What began as curiosity quickly became a career - and over the past two decades, I have worked my way through nearly every layer of the e-commerce stack. From storefront templates to backend APIs, from database optimization to deployment pipelines, I have built it all.

My deepest experience lies in Magento, Shopware, Symfony, and WordPress. I have spent thousands of hours inside these codebases - building custom modules, debugging complex business logic, and architecting solutions that hold up at scale. I understand how these platforms think, and I know where they break.

Today, my primary focus is building plugins that solve real problems for merchants and developers. I do not build bloatware. Every plugin I ship is lean, well-tested, and designed to integrate cleanly with the platform it runs on. I believe plugins should make stores faster, not slower - and that the best code is the code you do not have to think about after you install it.

I publish plugins to the Shopware Store, WooCommerce marketplace, Shopify App Store, and Adobe Commerce Marketplace. Covering four major ecosystems means I can reach merchants wherever they are and bring proven patterns from one platform to another.

When I am not building plugins, I work as a developer at Matas A/S - Denmark's largest health and beauty retail chain - where I build and maintain e-commerce features at scale using Shopware 6, Magento 2, Symfony, and Vue.js. Working at that scale keeps my skills sharp and my perspective grounded in what actually matters: performance, reliability, and code that the next developer can understand.
